Ravinderpal Singh, born on October 14, 1988, is a Canadian cricketer known for his right-handed batting style. He made headlines when he became the first batsman for Canada to score a century in a T20I match, achieving this feat on his debut against the Cayman Islands on August 18, 2019. This century was not only significant for being the first for Canada in T20Is, but also because Singh was the first cricketer ever to score a century on his T20I debut.
His cricketing career includes being named in Canada’s squad for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament in Namibia and making his List A debut against Papua New Guinea in the same tournament. Singh has also played for various teams in different leagues, including the Vancouver Knights, Toronto Nationals, Swift Gallopers, Colombo Kings, and Bangla Tigers.
